Extrusion moldability

Single-layer T-die extrusion, co-extrusion T-die molding

We perform film deposition experiments of a variety of thermoplastic resin with T-die method (die width 150~350mm).
A witnessed test is available.
In addition, we do trial production for evaluation (around a few meters ~ tens of meters).
Mixability

Two-roll mixer

We do kneading tests with small open rolls.
They are suitable for small scale tests using rubber elastomer, commodity plastics (below 200℃) and thermohardening resin.

Three-roll mixer

The major targets of three- roll mixer are paint and ink.
It can disperse pigment and filler on solution or liquid binder (vehicle).  We use 6 inch three-roll of Buhler, Germany.

Mixing and kneading

We detect melting torque of polymer under dynamic conditions, and measure melt viscosity, temperature and shear stability.
The evaluation of small lot (30ml~) is available.
We deal with rubber elastomer and thermohardening resin as well as thermoplastic resin such as commodity plastics and engineering plastics.
Injection moldability

Evaluation on supercritical fluid forming (MuCell®)

We introduce MuCell® process, and test and evaluate on foam molding which is getting popular as weight reduction technology.

Molding conditions, moldability evaluation

We consider molding conditions for a wide range of thermohardening resin from general purpose polymer to engineering plastics. (A witnessed test is available)
Extrusion kneadability

Twin-screw kneading extruder

We extrude and knead with an intermeshed co-rotation twin screw extruder.
We consider the conditions on developing polymer alloy and compound.
We also do small (500g~) and medium (around 200kg per day) test production.
A witnessed test is available as well.

Single-screw kneading extruder

A single-screw kneading extruder can extrude and mix with lower shear rate than a twin-screw kneading extruder.
Compression moldability

Compression molding conditions

We consider compression molding conditions targeting at thermohardening resin and thermoplastic resin.
In particular, we consider developing conditions for plates, sheets and laminates using hot press and vacuum press.

CAE data taking

Physical property data for CAE

We measure physical properties for resin flow simulation on injection molding CAE.
We take physical property data when we use a new material or change bulking agent rate.
Shrinkage rate

Heat shrinkage rate, molding shrinkage rate, curing shrinkage rate

We measure molding shrinkage rate (JIS K6911) when thermoplastic resin (injection molding) and thermohardening resin are compressed and molded, curing shrinkage rete of thermohardening resin, and heat shrinkage rate of films.
Thermosetting property

Heat curing analysis

On thermohardening resin, we measure the behavior when curing such as exothermic heat and increasing viscosity.
You can obtain the necessary data for setting gelation time and curing conditions.
Molding fluidity

Thermohardening resin (transfer molding)

We conduct a spiral flow test (test specifications EIMS T901 and all) by a transfer molding machine targeting at epoxy compound for semiconductor sealing materials.

Injection molding spiral flow (thermoplastic resin)

Measurement of the flow length of thermoplastic resin using Archimedean spiral flow mold

・measuring molding temperature dependency, molding velocity dependency and molding pressure dependency of floe length
・measuring initial inflow velocity dependency into the cavity with the flow rate sensor in the mold and shear rate when passing the sensor
Film processability

Biaxial drawing

We can put a lot of characteristics on thermoplastic film in the process that it is stretched above the glass transition temperature and its molecules are oriented in film biaxial drawing.

We prepare test pieces for physical property evaluation targeting at a variety of thermoplastic resin from general purpose polymer to engineering plastics. (a witnessed test is available)

Compression molding

We make plates, sheets and laminates from pellet, compound, prepreg using hot pressing and vacuum hot pressing.
Test piece preparation (thermosetting)

Transfer molding

We prepare test pieces with transfer molding method targeting at epoxy compound for semiconductor sealing materials.

Compression molding

We make trial models of hardened boards with compression molding die.
We use epoxy resin, phenolic resin and melamine resin and all.
We also consider prototyping of compound for semiconductor sealing materials, and hardened boards such as BMC, FPC (laminates) and CFRP.

Cast molding

We perform casting UV curable resin and liquid thermosetting resin such as epoxy resin, unsaturated polyester resin and cast urethane.

Secondary processing

Machining, notch processing, die-cutting

We make test specimens by machining and die-cutting molded pieces, plates and sheets.
